Square's Canadian website lists a Free plan at $0 a month and a Plus plan from $35 a month, with in-person card rates of 2.5% for credit and 0.75% + 7¢ for debit. Extra features come from paid plans and add-ons.

Swipe360
A flat monthly fee for the software: Starter $49, Growth $79 or Pro $139 per store, in Canadian dollars. Growth includes Loyalty, Promotions, Purchasing and Staff Schedule. Pro includes every plugin, payroll for up to 10 employees and a website of up to 5 pages.

Which costs less?
It depends on your store. If you only need a basic till, Square's free plan may cost less. If you're paying for add-on apps, a website builder or a bigger plan to get the features you need, one flat Swipe360 plan often comes out ahead.

Swipe360 runs in the web browser on a Windows computer, an Android tablet or an iPad, with standard receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers. There's no locked-in register to buy or lease.
Plans are month to month, with no setup fees and no cancellation fees. If Swipe360 isn't right for you, you leave without a penalty.

Plugins instead of extra apps.
Every store gets the same full till. Loyalty, appointments, promotions, staff scheduling, purchasing and payroll are plugins you switch on only when you need them, and they all share the same customers, products and sales.
On Starter and Growth, extra plugins are $14.99 a month each (Appointments $24.99). Pro includes them all.

Every plan includes a custom one-page website designed by our team, with your hours, address and phone kept up to date from your till. Bigger sites with online ordering are available when you're ready.
Canadian support
Swipe360 Solutions is a BC company. Support comes from Canada, in Pacific time, from people who run a store too. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and GST and PST are handled the Canadian way.

Is Swipe360 cheaper than Square?
It depends on what you use. Square's free plan has no monthly fee. Swipe360 charges a flat monthly fee for the software and includes a custom website and the plugins in your plan. If you pay for add-on apps, a website builder or a paid Square plan, add those up with our cost calculator to compare.
Can I keep my hardware?
Usually, yes. Swipe360 works with standard computers, tablets, receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers. Tell us what you have and we'll check it works before you switch.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month to month, with no setup fees and no cancellation fees. Cancel any time and you won't be charged again.
How does the lower price guarantee work?
Send us a written quote or invoice for another Canadian POS provider's regular monthly software fee. If it's lower than ours for comparable features, we'll set your Swipe360 monthly fee 10% below it for your first 12 months. Free plans and short-term promotions don't count. See the terms.
